One of my favorite hidden gems in the bay area is Filoli Gardens. This beautiful estate was built by a man who became rich during the gold rush and has been a place that I have visited since I have been a little girl. There are so many things I love to do all around this house. My first recommendation would be to visit the different gardens all around the property like the rose garden and the bonsai garden. This spot is great if you want a perfect background for your artsy pic on Instagram. Another one of my favorite things to do here is visit the gift shop where I love to get cute aloe to decorate my room with or to get a sweet treat to bring home. With all the walking around I usually find myself hungry but luckily there's a great café here too where I love to get salads or their yummy quiches. Whether it's shopping or seeing great views this estate is a must to come and visit.
